Norm Cash became one of the most popular Tigers ever. His four homers over Tiger Stadium’s right field roof were legendary and Cash was a key figure in the 1968 World Championship season. In the World Series he led the Tigers in batting with a .385 average.
Al Kaline, who you probably know as Mr. Tiger, never played a day in the minor leagues. In fact, the same day Kaline graduated from high school he signed a contract with the Tigers and made his major league debut six days later.
He was an 18-time All-Star, a 10-time Gold Gove Award winner and helped lead the Tigers to the 1968 World Series title.
Not surprisingly, he was a first-ballot selection. This card is a piece of Tiger history you will be proud to own.
